Why do men do Pilates?​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Over the past year we've been getting more male clients joining our classes and many join because they have injuries or even unbearable pain that they need help with. We really wanted to highlight the benefits of doing Pilates as a preventative measure because we know men tend to be more skeptical about trying Pilates than women. (Yes we know our studio is quite girly but we don't bite! 😜)​​​​​​​​

- Build deep core strength and reduce muscular imbalances associated with aches and pains​​​​​​​​
- Build deep core strength to help with other exercises that you do at the gym or other workouts (we've seen people with toned abs who still struggle with pilates core work because they only work on the abs muscles on the surface!)​​​​​​​​
- Improve flexibility to prevent or help injuries​​​​​​​​
- Improve mobility and range of motion to help with other activities such as golf!​​​​​​​​

We're continuously trying to do our best in contributing positively to the environment, and in the past few months we've made a number of changes around the studio! ​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ Here are some of the changes we've made...​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ 🌱 Replacing our alcohol sprays with plant-based disinfectants​​​​​​​​ 🌱 Changing all our toilet rolls and tissues to bamboo fiber tissue​​​​​​​​ 🌱 Adding recycling bins in the studio?​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ We know we can still do better though and we're still working on it! And we're always open to new ideas if you want to send them our way 💌
